Md Ariful Haque is a PhD student in the Department of Modeling Simulation and Visualization Engineering (MSVE) in Old Dominion University. He has completed Master of Science (MS) degree in MSVE from Old Dominion University in Summer 2018. He has been working as a graduate research assistant in the Virginia Modeling Analysis and Simulation Center (VMASC) since August 2016.

Mr. Haqueis working under the supervision of professor Dr. SachinShetty. His research interest includes but not limited to cyber-physical system security, industrial power system network resilience analysis, mathematical modeling and analysis of network security, cloud security, big-data, system dynamics, and agent-based modeling.

Before joining Old Dominion University as a graduate research assistant, Mr. Haquehad worked in the telecommunication sector especially in Ericsson core network switching system configuration, and operation and maintenance. He had received his bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in September 2006. Mr. Haquehad received his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Institute of Business administration (IBA) of Dhaka University in August 2016.
